AT&T Must Honor The Contract!

CWA 1101 Members tell AT&T Mobility to ‘Honor The Contract’. Click on the picture above to view the photo gallery.

Yesterday, members of our Executive Board along with our fellow Verizon brothers and sisters began information picketing outside various AT&T stores in the New York area.

As our AT&T members know, CWA was successful in winning an arbitration case against the company in regards to the scheduling tool. The arbitrator’s decision was: “The introduction of the MYSchedule tool did violate Article 12.2 of the parties’ Agreement. The Company shall provide employees their choice on the basis of seniority from those tours made available by the Employer”.

However, the company is not adhering to the ruling. Managers have still asked for the members’ preferences, denied requested days off, ignored seniority and have refused to allow members to swap tours. CWA will not allow AT&T to violate the contract and ignore our victory.

We Demand AT&T Honor The Contract!

CWA will continue the information picketing throughout the New York Region until the scheduling tool adheres to the contract.

The Executive Board is in the process of working out a system that will allow members to either call or email in their specific scheduling conflicts.
